    BEGROTINGEN

    AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL

Amnesty International heeft haar halfjaarlijks rapport over mensenrechtenschendingen in Europa gepubliceerd. Amnesty’s conclusie is helder en duidelijk:
“Unfortunately, this and preceding numbers of Concerns in Europe (Amnesty International’s bulletin containing information on the organization’s human rights concerns in Europe – published twice a year) provide ample evidence of the continuing incidence of torture and ill-treatment, excessive use of lethal force, lack of fair  trial, denial of the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, and impunity for a range of human rights violations throughout the region.”

    STATEWATCH

    ABC’s Background Briefing 20/08/00 :
“The Business of Cybersecurity – The War On Privacy?”

In cyberspace, we don’t know who the enemy is, or even what they want. This is fertile ground for the mercenaries of information technology a new breed of computer security companies who stand to make a buck by sleuthing, hunting down that enemy, and building your fortresses. In the world of corporate spies, hackers and computer security a battle is raging about how far government, business and law enforcement should go in monitoring what we do when we use the internet.

    CSIS over anti-globalization movement

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) has recently prepared a public document entitled “Anti-Globalization: A Spreading Phenomenon”. The document is based on “open sources”. You can imagine what else is lurking at CSIS based on confidential and undercover sources.

    TELEFOONTERREUR

Big Brother Is Tapping Your Cheating eHeart

Jealous spouses seem to be the biggest users of new software that records others’ electronic activities, stroke for stroke.
